Financial Office:

The Financial Office of the Syrian Democratic Alliance is one of the most crucial offices within the Alliance, established to manage and safeguard the financial assets of the Syrian Democratic Alliance in an optimal and secure manner, ensuring transparency and professionalism.

This office is responsible for achieving the financial goals set by the Alliance with precision, contributing directly to fulfilling the overall objectives of the Syrian Democratic Alliance.

Establishment of the Financial Office within the Alliance:

Based on the internal regulations of the Syrian Democratic Alliance and Article 16, the Financial Office was established by the elected General Secretariat. It comprises members of the Syrian Democratic Alliance, both from political entities and independent experts with experience in financial, accounting, and administrative affairs.

Financial Policy of the Financial Office:

The board of the Financial Office developed the financial policy of the Alliance, designed to guide financial processes in accordance with global accounting standards. The office applies sound financial governance principles, ensuring transparency, integrity, and adherence to proper financial management policies.

Work Mechanism of the Financial Office:

The Financial Office regularly submits financial reports to detail the Alliance’s financial activities, including revenues and expenditures. It also provides economic assessments and identifies potential financial risks based on statistical data from financial records. Additionally, the Financial Office oversees and audits the accounts of other offices, offers recommendations on budget policies, and assists in finding optimal solutions to financial challenges.

The board of the Financial Office focuses on several key objectives, including:

•  Managing the financial resources of the Syrian Democratic Alliance securely and efficiently to minimize financial risks and waste, ensuring that these resources are utilized precisely to achieve the Alliance’s goals.
• Implementing financial policies in all accounting processes and preserving financial documents for future reference, protecting them from damage or loss.
•  Ensuring that all financial procedures are standardized across all offices of the Syrian Democratic Alliance, creating a unified system that adheres to the financial regulations and policies adopted by the Alliance.
